
Almond financiers
Recipe from 750g .
Ingredients
150g icing sugar
100g of butter
60g of flour
4 egg whites
90g almond powder
1 pinch of salt
Directions
Preheat your oven to 200°C(392°F) (thermostat 6-7).
Melt the butter and leave to cool.
In a bowl, mix the sifted flour, ground almonds, icing sugar and 1 pinch of salt. Add the egg whites one by one, stirring with a wooden spoon.
Stirring constantly, add the melted butter. Lower the oven to 180°C(356°F) (thermostat 6), pour into buttered molds, and bake for 15 minutes, taking care not to let them overcook.
Once cooked, unmold the financiers and leave to cool on a wire rack.
