
Banana Bread
Kappa Recipe
Ingredients
3 very ripe bananas
115g butter
150g unrefined sugar
3 eggs
115g T65 “fluid” flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp turbinado sugar (for sprinkling on bread)
1/2 tsp salt
80g chocolate chips
Directions
Mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Mash the brown bananas with a fork until they are smooth.
Melt the butter in the microwave.
Mix the bananas and sugar together, and add the melted butter and vanilla extract.
Add the dry mixture to the banana mix.
Add the eggs
Add about 80% of the chocolate chips into the paste.
Pour the paste into the mold, and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
Top with the rest of the chocolate chips.
Bake at 175C/347F for 40min until brown/cracked, toothpick comes out clean.
